Stories
Real accounts from the people and communities JOCY works alongside, shared honestly as they happen.
Why This Page Is Still Growing
This space is meant for real stories -- from the children, older adults, volunteers, and communities JOCY works alongside. Because our programs are still early in their journey, we do not yet have verified stories of our own to share. Rather than invent accounts or borrow generic ones, we are waiting until we have real stories to tell, told with the consent and voice of the people living them.

How Stories Will Be Shared Here
When we do share a story, it will come directly from the person living it, or someone close to them, shared with real consent and in their own words wherever possible.
We will not dramatize hardship for effect, and we will not share a story simply because it is the kind of story people expect from a foundation like ours. If it is here, it is because it genuinely happened, and the person it belongs to wanted it told.
Stories, By Program Area
As each of our five program areas grows, real stories from that work will be added here.
Child & Orphan Care
Stories from the children and families we walk alongside.
Elderly & Geriatric Care
Stories from older adults finding renewed connection.
Education & Awareness
Stories of learning and opportunity taking hold.
Community Development
Stories of communities growing stronger together.
Intergenerational Care
Stories of generations connecting in real, lasting ways.
