Our Work

Five connected program areas, each built around a real, specific need in the communities we serve.

How We Approach Our Work

Every program area below follows the same real commitment: understand the need, show up with direct care, and build toward lasting change alongside the people and communities we serve.

Child and Orphan Care
Program Area 1

Child & Orphan Care

The problem: Too many children grow up without the stability, love, and opportunity every child deserves, whether through the loss of parents, family hardship, or circumstances beyond their control.

What JOCY is doing: We are building direct, hands-on support for vulnerable children, focused on real care rather than short-term gestures, working toward stability and a genuine sense of belonging.

Who we serve: Orphaned and vulnerable children in the communities where we work.

Program Area 2

Elderly & Geriatric Care

The problem: Many older adults face their later years in isolation rather than dignity, without regular company, support, or the care that aging well requires.

What JOCY is doing: We are working to bring genuine companionship, health support, and dignity to older adults, treating aging as something to be supported well, not overlooked.

Who we serve: Older adults in our communities who lack regular care or connection.

Elderly and Geriatric Care
Education and Awareness
Program Area 3

Education & Awareness

The problem: Limited access to education keeps children and families from real opportunity, and the issues facing vulnerable children and older adults often go unnoticed by the wider community.

What JOCY is doing: We are working to expand access to learning for the children we support, while also raising honest awareness of the challenges vulnerable children and older adults face.

Who we serve: Children in need of educational support, and communities who benefit from greater awareness of these issues.

Program Area 4

Community Development

The problem: Real, lasting change rarely comes from helping individuals in isolation. Communities that lack shared resources and support stay vulnerable, even when specific people are helped.

What JOCY is doing: We are working to strengthen the communities our beneficiaries live in as a whole, not just individuals within them, so support has a foundation to last.

Who we serve: The wider communities where our children and older adult beneficiaries live.

Community Development
Intergenerational Care
Program Area 5

Intergenerational Care

The problem: Children and older adults are often supported separately, missing the real, mutual benefit that comes when generations connect rather than remain apart.

What JOCY is doing: We are working to bring children and older adults together intentionally, creating space for genuine connection, learning, and support that flows in both directions.

Who we serve: Both the children and older adults across our other program areas, brought together.

Current Projects & Impact

As our programs develop, we will share real, specific updates on current projects and the impact of our work in each area here -- honestly, and only once there is something real to report.

Dedicated Pages, Coming Soon

Each program area above will eventually have its own dedicated page, going deeper into current projects, real impact, and specific ways to get involved with that area directly.

How You Can Support Our Work

Every program area above depends on people who choose to get involved, whether through giving, volunteering, or partnership.
